ABOUT ME

Passionate About Flyfishing

I am a retired high school Biology teacher allowing me to use my teaching experience to enhance your fishing skills and knowledge.  I am also a Pro Staffer for Izorline, a major monofilament fishing line and Spectra (braid line) company .   Since I live at the Lake Crowley landing from late April to the end of October, I am aware of the fishing conditions as they change.

LAke Crowley Stillwater Guide Service, Ernie Seko

My boat is a 20 foot Skeeter Bay Boat that is powered by a 150 hp Yamaha outboard motor.  It can easily accommodate three fly fishermen and myself.  I will provide top of line Saga and Orvis Helios rods.  All rods are equipped with Galvan, Lamson and Orvis reels filled with Rio fly lines.  All flies and other accessories for your fishing adventure will be provided.  Water, soft drinks, snacks, and a cooler are provided.  Feel free to bring other items to eat or drink.  California fishing licenses are required if you are 16 years or older.  Don't forget to bring a camera.  I'm insured, bonded and licensed as a guide.

I recommend booking 1/2 day trips.  The winds commonly come up in the late morning or early afternoon which usually slows down fishing.  I'm flexible... if conditions remain good and you wish to stay out, the outing can be changed to a full day trip.  I'm willing to accommodate your personal plans, whether you are doing a full day or half day trip.  It does not matter if you are a novice or experienced fly fisherman.  I am here to make your day of fishing a memorable one.
